Healthy Computing: Transpose to the Future

The following is one in an ongoing series of columns entitled Healthy Computing Tips by . View all columns in series
Feeling stuck and frustrated? Does it seem that the problem is unsolvable and will never end? The more we feel frustrated, defeated or upset, the more are we aroused and the more are our trigger points in our muscles activate. Allow the arousal to dissipate and the problems be resolved when you TRANSOSE TO THE FUTURE.

HOW TO TRANSOSE TO THE FUTURE:*

Think of the unsolvable problem you have now.

Now, let go of that thought and think ahead of ten years from now and imagine that you have really achieved what your really wanted and that you are living happily and joyously. Really experience how that feels what you are doing. Make this very vivid. Feel the joy and excitement of being really where you want to be...Feel and see how everything is going so well....feel this and let it expand.

After you are there for a little while and feeling the joy, ask yourself, How did you solve that problem 10 years ago?"

Then wait and listen carefully for the answer. It may come as an image, thought or another way of knowing.

Many people report that when they transpose themselves into the future state and then ask how they resolved that problem, a useful solution occurs or the problem is reframed so that it no longer is a problem.
