Q) I have been very depressed (emotional and mental causes), and have binged heavily. Is it possible to reverse the damage due to bingeing? - PD, Bristol
A) The body will respond to a sound nutrition programme. To avoid bingeing, consume mostly whole foods - fresh vegetables and fruits, wholegrains, beans, nuts and seeds - to feel satisfied, but not stuffed. Avoid concentrated and extracted foods, single nutrients and the regular intake of ‘high-potency’ anything, unless medically advised.
